TPI View

View the downloaded pictures in a viewer that allows pan and zoom
We now have an image viewer available here. Find the install instructions below. The Image Viewer is Here! You can download 1 of 3 versions.

TpiView.EXE 27K -- This is just the exe file, It will require addtional files to run. Replace the existing one in your C:\TPIVIEW directory. If you are only upgrading then get this small file.

TPIVuSu.exe 626K -- This is the above file with the required dlls. In addition to this file all you will also need VBRun300.dll. If you don't have it on your system downlaod the next file.

TPIVuRu.exe 866K -- This is all of the above with VBRUN300.dll included. Get the above file if you already have VBRUN300.dll on your system.

All three of the above files are setup programs that will install tpiview.exe and the required files. As with all setup programs, you should not be running any other programs when you run them. If you are running any VB programs you may have install problems You should save the file and then double click on it when you have unloaded all other programs. Once installed you will be able to use the automatic loading icon we have added to the picture form. (or soon will add) There are two things to be aware of when using our viewer from our pages.

1. When we start the viewer on your system, from a web page, we are looking for a default installation. If you have not installed the viewer in C:\TPIView then the automatic loading will not work.

2. We are looking for the images in the C:\programfiles\plus!\Microsoft Internet\cache You can change this directory to your web browser's directory by using File|Change Cache Setting. Once it is set you will be able to use the viewer right from a web page.

Be sure to install this program in the default directory and then click here to test the viewer installation
once you complete the installataion. If you are successful, you can click ok on the message box and use file open to find an image. Use the mouse buttons to zoom in and out (Left and Right). Use the scroll bars to pan around. There will soon be a zoom icon on the picture page that will load the current picture into your new Positive Image viewer!
